On the final day of my visit with Keith, we drove west from the Baltimore area to find a nice place to hike. We succeeded by visiting Catoctin Mountain Park. It is a nice little state park with some 20 miles of trails. That's not a lot, but it's plenty for a casual day hike. We bummed around for about 12 miles' worth of hiking. It was beautiful, dry, and sunny. The only one of these that Houston has these days is the "sunny", so I greatly appreciated the conditions.
