This area is known as Partington Canyon and Partington Cove. It is a couple of miles north of Julia Pfeiffer State Park. The cove provided some spectacular waves. The creek running out of the canyon came from way up high. It was fresh water, of course.
Keith and I climbed around the front of the point and nearly got stuck there by the rising tides. It was well-worth it. We got to see Partington Cove from the outside in and found a cave to explore as well.

Looking for sea otters...I saw one, but couldn't spot it again.
