I took another trip to Yosemite in early October. Michael and I undertook a substantial hike from Tenaya Lake to Yosemite Valley via Cloud's Rest, returning by the Snow Creek trail above Mirror Lake. All told, it took us 13 hours to complete the 32 mile hike that included 10,000+ feet of elevation change.
